Halloween Costume Contest

Arwa Ouali

Each year many children enjoy dressing up and going trick-or-treating. Halloween this year is on October 31, a Saturday. Now that we are virtual, Halloween is not going to be the same. We all must wear a mask and social distance to curb the virus and hopefully return closer to what life was like before the pandemic.

In the spirit of Halloween, the class of 2022 is hosting a Halloween Costume Contest. If you would like to enter the contest, take a picture of your Halloween costume and email it to Ms. Laquintano, before midnight of Halloween. Her email is [email protected]. Once all the entries are received, students will vote for their favorites.

The student whose costume gets the most votes will win a Starbucks gift card and a candy basket (to be delivered once schools reopen), plus bragging rights. Please make sure the costume is school appropriate. If banned in school, you can NOT send a picture of it. This means no clowns, weapons, drug/alcohol references, culturally offensive costumes, or nudity. All submissions are due October 31.
