Homecoming is just one of the many events high schools across America offer. This year, homecoming arrived a little earlier than most students expected. Regardless of whether you attended, here is your 2024 homecoming summary.
Before the event, students had the opportunity to vote for their class princess/queen and prince/king. Upon entering, attendees were greeted by the DJ, stands, and photo booths. The Freshmen class sold snacks such as chips, fruit snacks, and fruit roll-ups. The Sophomore class offered drinks like Gatorade, Capri Sun, and water. The Junior class also sold snacks, including cookies and chocolate. Finally, Senior class sold flowers, perfect for gifting to a friend or partner. Photo booths were set up in both the right and left corners, and lines were long as always. This year, photos were sent digitally via messages instead of as paper copies. Many students noted that the music was better this year compared to previous years.
Now, the moment everyone had been waiting for: the winners of this year’s homecoming court. Freshmen voted Brooke Lynn Pulcine as their princess. Sophomores selected John Corbett and Melissa Mota as prince and princess. Junior winners were Marcus Soares Silva and Damaris Flores. The senior court included Danny Oliveira, Eileen Garcia, Mathais Ron Orquena, Karla Bolivar, Jayden Fernandez, and Olivia Klus. The senior queen and king were Raquel Lamego and Antonio Velez. As the doors close on this year’s homecoming, we can’t wait to see who will win next year.
