The play Puffs was a spinoff to Harry Potter that mainly focused on the puffs. The play was comedic and amusing to our audience that came out to show support for the hard work of the cast, faculty, and volunteers who made this wonderful play possible with their incredible performances and key roles that made this possible. A special thanks to Miss G for making the Puffs play possible as the director who led the cast to put on a spectacular play full of talent and spirit for us all to see.
The cast consisted of mostly seniors who showcased their talent and hard work for the audience to look upon. The funding the play received towards funding for the senior’s upcoming events.
The story starts with a certain boy, Wayne Hopkins– played by Miguel Pinero who for seven years went to a Wizard School where he conquered and overcame the evil there. However this is not all there is to this story. This is the story of a certain group called the Puffs who happened to be there. They embark on a journey to explore all that a boy wizard can do and make it through a magic school proven to be full of all sorts of danger.
The narrator–Jasmine Viera, who is an absolute comedian that set the vibe of the play as playful and fun. The audience was amused by her comedic narration that guided them throughout the play and her presence added a spark to the play that enchanted the audience to see through the entire story. Not only did she deliver incredible narration but also interacted with the audience to add life and amusement to the show.
The play was an astonishing showcase of not only an amazing story but also amazing talent and hard work that was put in for this show to occur. We got to see the students of our school show their dedication and talent to an audience eager to see a show full of great performances and art. They delivered just that to the audience and more. We thank all the cast, faculty, and volunteers who took time out of their busy schedules to help create a show for our entertainment and fun. Everyone did an incredible job and we thank all that made this experience possible for us all.
